This is my first Jen Lancaster book so bear with me as this may be applicable to all Jen s books which I am presently putting in my Amazon wish list

This book is not for the faint of heart Jen Lancaster is sometimes crude often offensive and ALWAYS hilarious But beware to anyone who is easily offended Jen is blunt to the point and actually motivating me to go to the gym and eat healthy with the occasional excuse provided directly from one of Jen s e mails to her friends I think of this as smart humor I love the footnotes The self deprication is so familiar I feel as if I am having a conversation with one of my best girlfriends

Highly reccommended for smart self depricating professionals Not recommended for those who cannot readily laugh at themselves

I ve read some of the other reviews and I can t believe that some people don t appreciate the humor that Jen writes with This book was wonderful I loved it from start to finish and I think the footnotes are awsome

I really enjoyed Bitter is the New Black BNB I thought it was beyond funny but this one left me bored I tried to make myself like it and LOL but I just couldn t It wasn t as funny as I d hoped I feel that my expectations were a little high and therefore I set myself up for disaster Anyway I wouldn t say you should not read it but I wouldn t pass it around like I did BNB My hopes are that I will make you want to read it and like it since my review is so so
