If I have to read one more mind numbingly insipid novel written by some pill popping neurotic woman who can t keep her life together I will scream
I am SO SICK of these women thinking they can write books I am just so tired of their pathetic attempts at humor They allll think they have something to say and yet none of them will teach you a single solitary thing
This book was written by a woman who from the very start sounds nuts Divorced on several mood balancing drugs manic schizophrenic she flies to Italy to live for a bit and find herself learn Italian etc You know the drill We ve seen it so many times it s not even funny
Thankfully I didn t pay much for this book Got it at a yard sale or a book sale for like a buck or less I m throwing it out This book is horrible This dumb woman babbles on and on about such NOTHING And the lame attempts at humor that just copy EVERY SINGLE OTHER DIVORCEE WOMAN WRITER out there is just painfully annoying
AVOID THIS BOOK AT ALL COSTS THANK YOU

It was hard for me to get past the idea that the author goes on a spiritual journey with God but does not believe that Jesus is the only way to GOD In the bible Jesus states that he is the way the truth and the light no one comes to the father except through him John 14 6 The bible also states that there is a way which seems right to a man but its end is the way of death Prov 14 12
Thinking from a parents perspective if there was another way to fulfill a plan salvation in the case of Jesus I would find it because I would not want to see my child suffer and die a horrible death like what happened on the cross If there was another way to salvation don t you think God the author of the universe would have found it instead of sending his son to die for us

This book is about a journey of self discovery Escaping failed relationships that haunt her as well as her depression the author embarks on an amazing trip that takes her to Italy India and Indonesia She seeks filament and in the process learns how to relax and enjoy life and love
The author presents an interesting and very humorous perspective on life Her sections on depression were hard to read Depression is such a difficult experience to go through She was brave to leave everything behind in order to find herself Had she stayed in her marriage and had children what a catastrophe it would have been
Having traveled around the world myself I can relate to this book in so many ways I truly was able to find myself and love when I stopped trying to be what everyone expected and experienced life to the fullest on my own
