The Last Lecture
>> R Pausch s Last Lecture phenomenal
Randy Pausch writes his memoir/inspirational life changing book to speak to his children after his death It is of great benefit to all readers You ll want it in yuor library to read again and again I ordered two Timely deliveries thru Amazon Have read it 3 times already Bought one for my sister Am recommending it to everyone Pausch writes words to live by
>> Very inspiring and a great read for anyone of any age
I stumbled across this book at a friend s place where it sat on a mantle piece collecting dust Cracked it open and once I started reading I couldn t put it down For someone who s a huge complainer and a very impatient person I learned a whole lot from this book about going back to basic values and appreciating people for the things they do My favorite chapters were about Dr Pausch s times at Disney and his experience in NASA s Weightless Wonder He illustrates the ability to be successful and retain pure childhood values in a very accessible way This is not just another sob story it s a wonderful collection of personal anecdotes that can really help us appreciate the people around us particularly our loved ones who are always there for us I d highly recommend this to anyone but particularly to college students like myself
>> another self help
I couldn t finish the book However if a person was looking for an example of what to do before death this guy had some ideas Not my idea of a deep person
While I am sympathic for a dying man I couldn t help thinking that he lead an ideal life and had a lot of advantages It was his choice to not be considerate to his wife on her birthday and instead make a theatrical performance of his life to his students I think the man was full of himself Not a page turner
