Wow what a story True story written about a marine sniper Carlos Hathcock It goes into detail on some of his exploits during the war and also gives background information on the sniper It will keep you reading and you will not want to put it down I had a full day off and started reading in the morning and finished it that night Why has this not been made into a movie yet Would I recommend it Yes Would I buy it all over again Yes

Carlos Hathcock was one of those men that had the mental physical and intuition to do things others could not He did not just survive but prospered in a lethal environment forming his own rules and doctrine as he went using his instincts and skill
His doctrine formed a foundation that changed the Marine Corps and how Snipers operate and are viewed today
